Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Slovakia: iOS Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in Slovakia showed varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with downloads mostly hovering around the 3K to 4K range weekly. The app saw a peak of 3.9K downloads in the last week of July. Weekly active users remained robust, mostly staying above 200K, though a slight decline was observed from 220K in early July to 198K by the end of September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also demonstrated steady download numbers, averaging around 2K per week. Downloads peaked at 2.3K in the week of July 22. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly but generally remained stable, ranging from about 59K to 69K throughout the quarter.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation experienced a gradual decrease in downloads, starting from 1.6K in early July and tapering to 908 by the end of September. Its weekly active users showed a similar trend, with numbers decreasing from approximately 3.8K to 3.4K over the same period.

Google Earth saw its downloads decline from 738 in the first week of July to 416 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 3.5K to 2.8K.

The newest entrant, vintrica.com E-Vignettes, had a modest start with downloads peaking at 631 in late August, before dropping to 195 by the end of September. Weekly active user data was not available for this app.
